Hapoel Be'er Sheva of Israel midfielder, John Ogu, has singled out Carl Ikeme for praise following the goalkeer's excellent performance for the Super Eagles in their 2-1 away win against Zambia in Ndola on Sunday.

Ikeme made a string of superb saves to prevent Zambia from scoring more than the solitary goal scored by Collins Mbesuma.
One of such saves was keeping out Rainford Kalaba's point-blank header in the first half.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers keeper made another crucial save from Kalaba following a mistake from Wilfred Ndidi.

Reacting after the win, Ogu went on to describe the performance of the entire Eagles players as excellent.
"Excellent performance from the boys today. Bless up Carl Ikeme for those saves. Great job," he wrote on his Twitter handle.
