Navy Provides Free Medical Care To Bayelsa Community

 

In its effort to foster a good working relationship with the people of Bayelsa state, the Central Navy Command of the Nigerian Navy have provided free medical services to the people of Ede Pie community.
The exercise which is the fifth since the commencement of the medical rhapsody, has received tremendous patronage from communities visited.

Fielding questions from newsmen , the Flag Officer Commanding the Central Naval Command Rear Admiral  Mohammed  Garba spoke on the exercise and the Chief of Naval Staff support.
On their part, the community paramount  ruler and some beneficiaries commended the gesture by the Nigerian Navy.
On the need for peace in the region, Rear Admiral  Garba  call on the community residents to appeal to criminals to desist from their evil ways.
Since the inception of the free medical service by the Navy, over five thousand persons have benefitted with people coming from other communities.
